Enabling Click To Play Plugins in Google Chrome or how to disable media from auto-playing Are you tired of web sites which that automatically start playing media. I know I am. Here is a little known setting in Google Chrome which enables the Click to play feature.

NEW Dual Booting Win8.1PE x86 & x64

My all new Win8.1PE available as a dual booting x86 or x64 versions.  This version includes the apps listed below as well as some new ones, like Internet Explorer 11 and ClamWin Antivirus. Updated 01-23-14 to include TeamViewer and D7 Technician Tools. D7 only for x86 version. It doesn't seem to want to load on the x64 version.

All portable apps are listed in the Windows Start Menu under Portable Apps. If you prefer to use the Portable Apps menu instead then run the Portable Apps Menu shortcut on the taskbar.  The portable apps menu also allows you to download more apps by selecting the Apps>Get more apps. These freshly downloaded apps will only be available during the current session

Pressing the Ctrl plus the Windows key will bring up the Start Screen if you prefer using that instead of  StartisBack


It’s a large download (1.33gb) so be patient it can take 15-30 minutes (depending on your internet speed) to download.  After downloading burn the bootable ISO file to DVD, USB or mount  the iso. This is an updated version of my original x86 winpe8 found here plus a new x64 version.  This updated version includes the apps listed below as well as some new ones, like Internet Explorer 10 and ClamWin Antivirus.  I have also applied any new updates to all the portable apps. I am no longer including the ‘press any key’ version, since most users seemed to prefer the version that does not prompt to press a key

The silent installer also installs Ghostscript which is required by cutepdf writer to convert  PS2PDF

To convert your document to a pdf file simply print it to the CutePDF Writer  and when prompted for a file name, choose the name for the pdf file.

After Outlook 2013 Widows Update (KB2817630) Outlook Folder Pane displays as empty

After applying the Outlook 2013 Widows Update  (KB2817630) released on Sept. 10, 2013 your Outlook Folder Pane displays as empty.

To resolve the issue close out of Outlook and go to Control Panel > Programs and Features >View installed Updates and remove all instances of KB2817630 I had two versions installed and removed both.  After re-launching Outlook the folder pane was back to normal.
